Account Deletion

Deletion request

A deletion request marks the account deletion pending, closes active sessions, disables reminders, and marks conversations pending deletion.

Grace period

Deletion is scheduled 30 days after request. You can cancel during that period if you regain access to the account and pass reauthentication.

Final deletion

After the grace period, local user-owned database records are hard deleted and processor or backup-deletion follow-up is recorded in a redacted ledger.
